Training and teaching cannot be a fragmented process. For the IONIS group there’s continuity between its approach at the high school support level, and pre and post graduate education. It is based on the building of knowledge and competencies, and first and foremost on the development of adaptability values of personality traits that can guarantee durable success.
Sustaining leadership means everything but tranquility and compromise. We need to take advantage of this position to question ourselves, optimize our study paths and programs, identify new orientations, test new tools, methods and courses. This is our daily commitment, the only one that can help us improve and still better teach our students.
We may be guilty of excessive discretion about our commitment to social responsibility and diversity. While only recently becoming news topics, these notions have been a reality at our schools for many years. We strive to help deserving high school graduates who may meet financial difficulties.
Every year we find several hundred paid internships or jobs for students. We have signed credit and loan agreements with a dozen banking institutions. We support many associations within our schools whose objectives are to fight inequality or exclusion. ESME Sudria, one of our engineering schools, is mobilized in the fight against handicaps and IPSA helps high school kids in need. These are all battles that are led discretely, but that also get our students involved in the right social causes.
