Preparing today’s students is about fighting conventions

The field of higher education, whether by reason or caution, tends to develop conservative reflexes when facing changes. Such conservatism can deem innovation as a form of escape or resignation under the pressures and evolutions of modern society. But to teach and train is a fight against conventions and habits, and nothing is harder than the constant questioning of one’s own convictions and stepping away from the fray.

A strong vision to unify very different schools

There are very few corporate groups that fit the ideal pattern of a superior force creating and inspiring new entities which in turn harmoniously feed its overall reputation. Corporate life is made of crises, opportunities and unforeseen developments. But what makes the reality of a group and shapes its vitality is the ability of its members to unite around a few fundamental ideas. In marketing textbooks, they are called missions, values and vocations. Whatever the term, a strong and enduring company can be primarily defined and recognized through the links that unite its members and the principles they share.
