EFS and blood donation days

Starting with a first common initiative held on July 14, 2008 (World Blood Donor Day), we chose to establish a long term partnership with EFS (Etablissement Français du Sang - French Blood Bank), with the goal to inform and educate our 17,000 students on the importance of blood donation. For the last three years, the key blood drive periods (October and March) are marked in all our schools by communication campaigns: posters, leaflets, contests and conferences, and of course by direct voluntary blood donation from our students and staff. Our regional network of schools provides EFS with an effective echo chamber for its message to youth, a strategic audience for a collection of national importance.
